| This was my first foray into what is
known as "youth crew" hardcore, and I picked a winner.
This Vancouver Canada band's debut release mixes the perfect blend
of speed and melody. The recording is rough, but clean. This review
by Hirax Max of MRR describes it better than I. After they released
this record they did a 7" and then a full length (available
in my distro) on Em
Zine & Records.

“Canada’s Reserve
34 (official website) play some solid catchy, fast, youth-crewish
hardcore. I’s got tons of melody and hooks throughout, so
it’s not your basic run of the mill ’88 formula stuff.
I’ts also a rough enough recording where the melody doesn’t
annoy me (which too much melody can do).” (Hirax Max)
