Burial Year "Pestilence" LP
After TAKARU broke up Sean, DuWayne and Aaron had still so many ideas they couldn�t stop playing� BURIAL YEAR was born w/ the help of Dan Light in the Attic on Bass. The 4 piece did a US tour and released a 12" on Weavin Wheat Records (the Cd version came on Alone Records). After that Josh from BULLETS IN joined the Band on vocals and they recorded a full length (the CD version will be on ALONE records). If you still remember TAKARU, take what they were doing at the end w/ a little bit less hardcore and a little bit more metal and more breakdowns. So you got a nice mix of all their previous bands that are TAKARU, A LIGHT IN THE ATTIC, RUAHEDA and SUICIDE NATION.

Chaos Horde "Demo 86" LP
Chaos Horde was the best thing to ever come out of Baton Rouge, LA. They were a brilliant yet totally overlooked thrash/speed metal band with lots of hardcore punk influence, and was around in the mid to late 1980's. They played with bands such as B.G.K., Exhorder, Raw Power, G.B.H., Circle Jerks, D.R.I., J.F.A., C.O.C., The Offenders, Graveyard Rodeo, just to name a few. Their sound has been described as "Celtic Frost meets early Bad Brains, but faster!" you be the judge........After 21 years of being a classic and extremely rare cassette only demo, now finally immortalized on vinyl. Limited to 500 copies, not a bootleg, legit reissue.

"Thrashed to Ribbons" 7"
Gnarly thrash hardcore from Wisconsin, that pays homage to bands such as Bones Brigade and drinking beer. They sound like they are having a ball and some of the topics they cover are spot on- check the probike song 'Let the Good Times Roll' There a bunch of bands doing this style at the moment but these guys with their sense of humour and fun stand out from the upturned ball cap brigade.

Full length from Connecticut's CLUSTERFUCK (with members of SEIZURE & SELF-DEFENSE). Powerful punk/HC with a DEAD KENNEDYS,7 SECONDS,Cali feel to it. Limited to 300.

Politically charged old school hardcore from Phoenix AZ. These guys totally remind me of Straight Ahead or SOIA. Fast old school HC with metallic influences and great breakdowns. Vocals at times remind me of 7seconds or Uniform Choice. Really great band, highly rec to fans of straight forward (old) east coast HC.

Contaminators "No Friends" 7"
Debut from Bakersfield, CA most killer punk band to date! Bred on a healthy obsession with the Dot Vaeth Group , Nasty Facts, Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers. Loneliness and desperation and you have our favorite record yet.

Control De Estado "Acto Criminal" 7"
Here's the debut release from Florida's hardcore three-piece Control De Estado, and holy sh*t, it's a ripper! The six songs (four in Spanish, two in English) on here are over before you can piss your jeans, but you'll have plenty of time for that when you're sitting around the nursing home wondering why you wasted your life. Comparable to their maniacal label mates Ataque Frontal, C.D.E. blows apart 90 percent of the current crop of "HC" bands around today. They have that horrible high-treble-wall-of-noise sound backing the guitars that fits so perfectly with this kind of pissed music (think Unholy Grave or Disclose). Mean and uncomfortably ugly HardCore, which would make a perfect match for your personality (if you were hardcore). Comes on mean and uncomfortably ugly pink vinyl!!

Brand new copies, in great shape considering how much they traveled, but this is an Eastern Euro cover print job. I actually think it looks cool. Both bands post MP3s as free downloads around the web, I think this is cool enough if you're into the Euro late 90s emo sound that you'll pick this up.

Gauze "5th" LP
FIRST PRESS. The Fifth LP from Tokyo, Japanese Hardcore legends, GAUZE. Since 1981 GAUZE have played some of the world's most intense hardcore punk, and at this point might hold the title of the World's greatest continually playing, original 1980's hardcore band . A "Living tradition" of Japanese hardcore that has never mellowed with age, GAUZE have played monthly in Tokyo for 27 years, devoting most of their energy to their live performances. Many of their songs are hammered out at their live shows long before their sporadic recorded releases (their last release was ten years ago!). GAUZE's songs just seem to get FASTER with each record, and the blinding ten tracks here are no exception. Issued in Japan in late 2007 as a CD-only release, this is one of GAUZE's rawest recording yet and it's first appearance on vinyl.

Havaistys "Saamme Vain Sen Minska Pystymme Ottamaan" CD
H�V�ISTYS are a metal-core crossover based in Finland but with members coming from both Finland and Japan, with members also known for their work in FORCA MACABRA, RYTMIHAIRO and CONCLUDE. Nine intense, hook-laden songs that have a real heavily Japanese and Finish style infusion over classic late 80's metalcore sound. Guest vocalists on this recording include Shari from HARUM SCARUM and Ile from KUOLEMA. Absolute brutality! Includes Japanese style spine wrab/OBI, import from Japan.

V/A "Innocence Is Bliss" Cassette
I just found a box of some of the sealed cassette tape compilations I got from Rusty Nails, proprietor of Wasted Effort Records called "Innocence Is Bliss". I believe this came out in 1988, but it may have been 1989, it came out right when I was getting into punk. I've been told the Screeching Weasel song ("Merry Go Round") only appears here, but I have no idea if that is true. Intensity / E-150 split 7"
Two of the best recent European Hardcore bands on the loose here. Intensity do 3 tracks of the modern, raging Hardcore they where known for from their more recent releases. What can I say about E 150 but that they ruled so much everytime they�d put out a record, and this is no exception. 6 incredible, fast Hardcore Punk songs here (including a Discharge cover) that make me go berserk every time I listen to them.

Jiyuna! "The Devil is Waiting" LP
Jiyuna plays hardcore that is heavy, melodic, and passionate with odd time signatures. Influenced by stuff like Frail, Envy, Raein, old Cave In, and some (good) metal. Creative packaging as well, nicely screened covers.

Kolokol "Flammer og Farger" CD
The CD version of the LP on Moo Cow. This has the full color booklet so you can get this album as the artists intended!! Ha ha! Put out by the righteous Sjakk Matt Plater, whom I have mad respect for!

L�Amico Di Martucci / Cementerio Sh�w split 7"
All you would expect from Spanish thrashmasters C.S.:A furious, out of control Hardcore tornado that hits you like a shot in the knee. Italy's LADM where so fucking incredible, you wouldn�t believe it!! They sounded like Indigesti playing Agent Orange covers.

"Disease of Modern Times" LP
This is no bullshit, high-energy, great sounding hardcore from Belgrade, Serbia, taking the best elements of fast US 80's hardcore with good examples of European hardcore without any re-hash and not being stuck in the past. This how real hardcore should sound, with very good sound, fast tempos but also good amount of diversities in their songs, to keep them kicking through all the 14 songs.

Los Vanticanos "Nerone 666" LP
Italy�s answere to Christian hardcore. It all seems to be about tearing the Pope another asshole and turning the Vatican into a parkinglot. Musically it�s like Rorschach would have come across some old Wretched EPs, or maybe the other way arround, you know what I mean. Hard to find import.

Merkit / Roboteer split 7"
Merkit is fast powerviolence/crust influenced by Left for Dead and Dropdead. Roboteer is more of the same! Handscreened and awesome as always.

M�nster "Death Before Disorder" LP
Germany's M�nster started as a project, but after realizing that such a good chemistry shouldn't be blown off the decision was made to take it out of the practice space. The first two concerts confirmed that the audience could also relate to this energy. In terms of sound, comparisons have been made to the modern Swedish-Crust-Portland sound with a good measure of rocking riffs and a classic straight forward hardcore feel. Note: These imports on Sabotage Records are brand new copies, but 1-2 corners of the LP sleeves have dings/small creases do to damage incurred during shipping. Vinyl = unplayed.

Neon Nazis / Hips split 7"
Hips' follow up to a well recieved debut ep.. They deliever 2 new tracks that are better than anything ! On the flipside the Neon Nazis destroy with Dead Boys / Thunders attack...Bakersfield comes up . We all win.

Nightmare "Scatterraw" LP
Great album from this classic Japanese hardcore band and thankfully this time they left the saxophones at home. Blitzkrieg HC the way that only the Japanese truly know how to do it. Split label release between Hate / Putrid Filth Conspiracy / Plague Bearer Records, all Euro labels so this is an import.

Our Times 7"
Our Times are a band from Buffalo, New York that rock the hardcore with elements of Lights Out, Righteous Jams, and Outbreak. The recording was done with Jocko at Indie Audio, the same guy who recorded the Bad Business, Black SS, and Witness records so you know it sounds hot.

Rakkaus "Ty� Vapauttaa" 7"
Hardcore from Finland in the vein of Kansandemokratia and Riistetyt. A very promising young act from Suomi which features a very lively and furious female singer, destined to become a household name in the Finnish and world 80's revivalist propaganda 82 hardcore scene. Social lyrics and a dark overtone sets up the mood for the negativity contained within this record. Clear vinyl of 500 edition. Comes with a pin.

Rakkaus "Kuolevan Maailman Hiljainen Kirous" 7"
Raw crusty hardcore from Finland with female vox. Heavy and good.

Ruidosa Inmundicia "De Una Vez" 7"
This band, based in Vienna/Austria, is to me hands down one of the best Hardcore bands around. I�m not trying to tell you something, it�s the truth and everybody who bought their incredible demo or saw them live will totally agree. Two of the members are from Chile and the other 3 are from Austria. Musically, it�s a fantastic mix between, let�s say, "defiance of power" era Ripcord, Antidogmatikss and Uruguays Disidencia (that�s for the beautiful melodies they throw in occasionally). Needless to say that they are one of the most powerful live bands I have seen in years. This baby is gonna make you shit your pants, I swear!

Saboteurs "s/t" 7"
Garage Punk Mayhem from San Fransisco's Sabotuers . 2/3's of HIPS similar sound only more fucked up and wild . 600 copies pressed .

Sadville "Make Ready The Cross" LP
Debut LP by this five piece from Tennessee. Sadville play ultra heavy politically charged hardcore with heavy nods to Doom (UK), stoner rock, and thrashcore. Imagine a hybrid of Asschapel, Eyehategod, and His Hero Is Gone hanging out with Zann.

Satan's Rejects 7"
Fantastic Greek hum along street punk / oi EP. Much better sound / recording quality than I expected. Excellent DIY punk release. Hard to find import from Greece.

So Much Hate "How We Feel" LP
The re-release of Norway's So Much Hate's classic album called "How We Feel", this originally came out on x-port-plater from oslo in 1987. The record looks like the original but the cover is black/white as the original artwork was colored afterwards. The lyric sheet is exactly like the original, a 12" x 24" foldout. This is the first pressing of 700 that comes with an 8-page-fanzine with old interviews and liner notes by long time friends of the band.

Valse Triste "Madon luku" LP
Bass-driven as fu*k-that's the instrument that's dominant here, although there's also some six-string mangling, as it's described on the case. Bottom-heavy aggro from this long-time Finnish band. Comparisons to NoMeansNo are kind of inevitable, given that bass-dominance, but Valse Triste favor a pure attack-not much ebb and flow or subtle shadings. These guys go from straight-ahead speed bombs to rhythmically complex arrangements. One constant is the ranting dual vocals that have the harsh inflection that's been a mainstay of Finnish hardcore. A New Spelling Of My Name "The Fraud and Folly of Good Intentions" LP
New Spelling... are ex-HOMAGE TO CATALONIA, ex-VIRGINIA BLACK LUNG and ex-MIDVALE...There�s emotion mixed with melancholic clean riffing. If MINERAL would exist today and reside in DC, this is what it would sound like.The singer has that same amount of pathos in his voice, if not more. Not singing in a band would mean the end of him. Theres some use of a piano and it adds a lot to the song. The riff in the chorus is good too. The album ends with an acoustic jam.

Gewohnheitstrinker "1984" LP
Rocking German street punk. Super production, great catchy song writing, fantastic musicianship and perfect backing choruses. This is an anti Nationalistic band on a great German DIY label!
